Our process / installation

Curtain walling is an engineered system, so we begin with a detailed survey and design coordination with your architect or main contractor. We confirm structural fixings, thermal targets and visual finishes, then fabricate the framing and glass to exact tolerances. On site, our experienced installers set out, fix and seal each section, install the glazing and complete the weather-tight detailing. Throughout, we coordinate closely with other trades and programme works to suit the build, including phased and out-of-hours installation where occupied buildings demand it.

What is the difference between stick and unitised curtain walling?

Stick systems are assembled piece by piece on site, offering flexibility on irregular elevations. Unitised systems arrive as pre-built panels, enabling faster, higher-quality installation on taller buildings. We advise on the best fit for your project.

Can you reglaze or upgrade an existing curtain wall?

Yes. We replace failed glass units, upgrade to thermally efficient low-E glazing and refurbish seals and framing to extend the life and performance of existing facades.

Is curtain walling energy efficient?

Modern thermally broken systems with insulated low-E units perform very well, significantly reducing heat loss and solar gain compared with older single-glazed facades.
